When installing pavers you must consider what type of pavers works for you. There are many types to choose from. One type would be clay. Clay pavers are vary durable and attractive. But the main draw, is that clay pavers have the color run completely through the product. Many of the pavers today only hold the color on the vary top. With that said, a premium clay paver can hold a more true color over the course of time. But if sealers are applied, this will keep any clay or non-clay paver looking great. Here is a example of a clay paver that we used on a porch.
On March 17th we start a driveway installation. With this driveway, Unilock stone was chosen. Most contractors install pavers and stone on a sand & gravel base. But here at G.H. Erickson & Son this is not a lasting process when sand is used. For a driveway to hold up, it must be done with a concrete base. When done right, it will be completely maintenance free. Please examine the following pictures to see from start to finish how a quality driveway is installed using stone. Feel free to contact us for more information.
